Pada prinsipnya, ini terjadi karena sifat angin memang selalu mengisi ruang kosong. Nah, &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 102, 0);"&gt;ada tiga hal yang paling sering menimbulkan angin palsu pada mesin diesel&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt; &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 102, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;Pertama&lt;/span&gt;, karena pernah kehabisan bahan bakar. Bahan bakar yang minim ini membuat angin ikut masuk ke injection nozzle. Selanjutnya, angin tersebut mempengaruhi tekanan solar ke ruang bakar. Tekanan solar menjadi tidak tinggi. Padahal, untuk penginjeksian, mesin diesel&lt;br /&gt;memerlukan tekanan yang tinggi.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt; Masalah "tekanan" inilah yang paling utama membuat mesin diesel begitu terpengaruh angin palsu. Tidak seperti mesin berbahan bakar bensin.&lt;br /&gt;Meskipun mesin bensin juga bisa masuk angin, kinerjanya tidak terpengaruh angin palsu. Sebab, penginjeksian bensin cukup dengan tekanan antara 2,5 sampai 3 kg/cm2. Sementara solar harus di atas 180 kg/cm2.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt; &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 0);"&gt;Kedua&lt;/span&gt;, yang juga paling sering memicu masuk angin adalah saat penggantian part pada sistem bahan bakar. Misalnya penggantian saringan solar, injection nozzle dan selang-selang bahan bakar. Saat komponen ini dibuka, angin leluasa masuk ke saluran sistem bahan bakar.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt; &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 0);"&gt;Penyebab ketiga&lt;/span&gt;, pembuangan air di penampungan air (water sendimeter). Sama seperti prinsip di atas, saat air terbuang, udara akan menggantikannya masuk ke priming pump.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt; Dengan demikian, jelas bahwa langkah-langkah untuk menghindari masuk angin adalah dengan memperhatikan sebab-sebab di atas, yaitu:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Sebaiknya isi kembali solar sebelum garis pertama tanda E (empty).      &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt; Lakukan penggantian komponen sistem bahan bakar di bengkel. Sebab, teknisi di bengkel akan sekaligus melakukan pembuangan angin palsu saat penggantian.      &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt; Beruntung, kemajuan teknologi diesel terbaru sudah mengatasi problem ini, yaitu dengan diaplikasikannya teknologi EFI pada mesin diesel.&lt;br /&gt;Sekalipun masuk angin, pengendara tidak perlu melakukan tindakan buang angin palsu. Dengan teknologi ini, mesin secara otomatis melakukan pembuangan angin sendiri. Teknologi ini sudah diterapkan pada Kijang Innova diesel misalnya. Tapi juga mesin diesel. Sama seperti yang dirasakan manusia, masuk angin membuat tak nyaman. Saat mesin diesel masuk angin misalnya, mesin akan sulit dihidupkan. Ketika dioperasikan, mesin juga terasa kurang tenaga.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Menurut Saian, Technical and Training Staff Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) AstraWorld, ini memang kasus yang biasa dikeluhkan pemilik mesin diesel. "Pengendara kerap menyebutnya dengan angin palsu," katanya.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Angin palsu ini jelas harus dibuang. Sepanjang masih ada angin (udara) palsu di dalam sistem bahan bakar, volume bahan bakar yang diinjeksi ke ruang bakar tidak akan sesuai. Artinya, supply solar ke ruang pembakaran kurang. Inilah yang menyebabkan mesin susah hidup, dan&lt;br /&gt;terasa kurang bertenaga.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Penanganan kasus ini sangat mudah, bagaimana ?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Tekan priming pump beberapa kali hingga terasa keras saat ditekan.      &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Start mesin sampai hidup. (Catatan: Jangan melakukan start yang terlalu panjang. Apabila susah hidup, lakukan sambil menekan priming pump).     &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Setelah mesin hidup, kendorkan baut union pada injection nozzle.  Usahakan tutup baut tersebut dengan kain karena akan keluar bahan bakar. Kendorkan baut sampai bahan bakar yang keluar melalui baut union tidak berbusa lagi. Lakukan tindakan ini pada semua injection nozzle.      &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;Semua kegiatan ini bukan hal sulit. Tapi, pengaruhnya dalam kenyamanan dan keselamatan berkendara bisa sangat luar biasa. Keluhan saya adalah untuk blower belakang kurang dingin. Hal ini akan terasa bila mobil dinaiki banyak orang, apalagi dalam cuaca panas/siang hari. Padahal AC isuzu panther terkenal paling dingin.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Kemudian ketika saya bawa ke bengkel AC, montir bilang bahwa kurang dinginnya AC belakang karena "Ekspansi"nya sudah lemah. Kalo di bengkel, istilah Ekspansi biasa disebut juga dgn Tembaga. Padahal kebiasaan buruk ini sebenarnya bisa membawa dampak negatif di masa mendatang. So, demi menghindari dampak yang tidak diharapkan dari hal yang awalnya cukup sepele ini, ada baiknya anda menyimak beberapa hal dibawah ini: &lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt; &lt;div&gt;Saat mematikan mesin jangan langsung memutar kontak ke posisi off dan menggeber-geber gas. Hal ini sangat berpengaruh pada pelumasan mesin. Saat putaran tinggi mesin memerlukan pelumasan yang lebih baik. Tapi karena langsung dimatikan meskipun masih ada sisa oli pada dinding boring (rumah silinder), pelumasan menjadi berkurang. Jika sering dilakukan mesin akan aus atau jebol.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt; &lt;div&gt;Mesin yang langsung dimatikan setelah digeber pada kecepatan tinggi adalah cara yang kurang tepat. Karena saat itu dapur pacu baru saja bekerja keras dari menempuh perjalanan. Dalam keadaan mesin bertemperatur tinggi, tentu komponen di dalamnya masih mengembang, jika tiba-tiba dimatikan hal itu akan merusak dinding silinder.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt; &lt;div&gt;Disamping itu mesin yang dituntut melakukan putaran tinggi secara terus menerus pasti mengalami stress. Kondisi ini membuat keadaan mesin belum stabil.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt; &lt;div&gt;Kebiasaan mematikan mesin tiba-tiba sehabis melaju pada kecepatan tinggi dapat menyebabkan ring piston cepat aus. Selanjutnya merembet pada penurunan kompresi sehingga tenaga menjadi payah.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt; &lt;div&gt;Untuk itu saat mematikan mesin diamkan putaran iddling beberapa saat sampai mesin benar-benar dalam keadaan stationer. Sehingga kompressor-nya tidak bekerja. Bener gak ya? apa bospomp itu sama dengan karburator di mobil bensin? &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33ff33;"&gt;Bagian2 apa saja yang perlu diperhatikan pada mesin diesel, khususnya Phanter.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33ff33;"&gt;Maturnuwun atas Infonya.....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Tanggapan:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Proficiat Bro ... atas panther barunya ... &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ffcc66;"&gt;Secara umum perawatan sama yang penting ganti oli pada waktunya (oli mesin, oli gardan, oli perseneleng, oli/minyak rem, powerstering)... Klo bisa minyak rem n power sterring dikuras aja gak mahal kok ... Saya pernah terlambat menguras minyak rem akhirnya rem blong n masternya kena padahal tuk nguras minyak rem cuma perlu 2 botol minyak rem merek prestone @ 15rb = 30rb. Ganti filter2 pada waktunya (filter udara, filter oli, filter solar) &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ffcc66;"&gt;Bospom atau injector, (boleh juga dibilang karburator tapi beda lho) klo masih irit gak perlu di service Bro ... apalagi klo rajin ganti filter solar, dijamin aman ... punya ane dah 3 tahun aja belum pernah srvice injector ... padahal belinya second juga, apalagi service injector kan mahal mending setiap 10.000 Km solarnya diisi full lalu dikasih injector cleaner ... merk prestone cuma 24rb.
